FolioLink is a networking platform that connects aspiring art and design students with peers who have successfully gained admissions to prestigious programs. Through the platform, students can access a library of peer portfolios for inspiration and guidance as they prepare their own admissions portfolios.
For users of the platform, searching portfolios and uploading their own art and design works are critical components of participating in the community. To ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience, the main focus of the design was to create a simple and efficient search and upload process. Given the platform's emphasis on visual content, I chose a clean and organized layout design that effectively showcases the ample collection of thumbnail images and portfolio information on each page.
